In 1973, the "Alto" created in Palo Alto was the world's first PC to feature a GUI with a bitmap display. In other words, the home of pixelart. In 2026, this work was created to celebrate an exhibition held at a gallery in Palo Alto.
This work was first produced in 2020, the 2026 edition has been updated for the art and technology event “DIG SHIBUYA.”
1973年、パロアルトで開発された「Alto」は、ビットマップでの表示によるGUIを搭載した世界初のパーソナルコンピュータでした。つまり、ピクセルアートの聖地です。2026年、本作はパロアルトのギャラリーで開催された展覧会を記念して制作されました。
