This work depicts the view from box 5 of the Opera Garnier in Paris, which the Phantom instructs to always leave open for him in the 1909 Gothic novel The Phantom of the Opera. Hidden in the curtain i n the foreground is INVADER's "PA_631", originally hidden by the outer gate of the Opera Garnier.
The novel is based on an accident that actually occurred at the Opera Garnier in the 19th century, but the stage production of "The Phantom of the Opera" has never been staged here. Will it be staged here someday?
1909年のゴシック小説『オペラ座の怪人』で、怪人が自分のために必ず空けておくように指示する、パリのオペラ・ガルニエ5番ボックス席から臨む景色が描かれています。手前のカーテンに隠れているのはINVADERの「PA_631」、本来はオペラ・ガルニエの外門に隠れています。19世紀にオペラ・ガルニエで実際に起きた事故を元に作られた小説ですが、舞台『オペラ座の怪人』がここで上演されたことはありません。いつか上演されるでしょうか。
