This work is one of a series of "night views" during the curfew period due to the COVID-19 crisis. It depicts a rainy view of Godzilla Road, the main street of Ka bukicho, Shinjuku's entertainment district.
This work was first produced in 2021, the 2023 edition has been updated to the 2023-24 cityscape.

本作はコロナ禍の外出自粛期間において制作された、夜景「よる之景」シリーズの一つで、新宿歌舞伎町のメインストリート、ゴジラロードの雨の景色が描かれています。
本作は2021 年に初版が制作されました。2024 年の版は、街の風景が2023-24 年のものに更新されています。
