This work depicts the remains of the modern Kameido Umeyashiki with the same composition as Hiroshige's "Kameido Umeyashiki" No. 30 from "One Hundred Famous View of Edo".
The plum orchard, which was a famous plum orchard at that time, is now gone, and only one plum tree is planted at the site of the orchard.

広重の「名所江戸百景」第三十景「亀戸梅屋舗」と同じ構図で現代の亀戸梅屋舗跡が描かれた作品です。当時、梅の名所であった梅園は現在なくなり、その跡地には梅が1本だけ植えられています。
